4、概况说明：世界包装组织亚洲包装中心是迄今为止国际组织在我国建立的第一个世界性产业中心，2003年3月国家经贸委从杭州、上海、江苏、广东等四个申办省市中，选中杭州为实施城市。亚洲包装中心是融制造、科教、研发、贸易、文化、金融、信息和服务等于一体的世界性包装产业中心，将采取统一规划、全面招商、分期实施和滚动发展相结合的方式，融合政府、行业、企业优势，实行市场化、企业化、国际化的运作。亚洲包装中心总部规划在杭州市钱江新城，首期开发约一平方公里；在杭州市江东工业区初步规划20平方公里、临平工业新区10平方公里作为亚包中心加工区的制造业基地。亚洲包装中心诚邀全球企业、财团和业界人士、投资家前来投资兴业，共同打造亚洲包装产业的“航空母舰”。
